STEP Offshore's big bag unit is designed to handle big bag chemicals. The bags are lowered onto the pyramid knife and emptied into a hopper. Dosing is performed by a screw conveyor between big bag unit and mud hopper. The unit is delivered with local start/stop push buttons and ensures proper emptying and continuous adding of chemicals into mud mixing hopper. The unit provides a dust free working environment and is designed to meet all relevant offshore requirements regarding health, safety and environment.
